Prof. Uwe Pühse and Roger Federer on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Roger Federer Foundation in Zurich.

The Roger Federer Foundation celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Education enables children to take their future into their own hands and actively shape it. This is one of the reasons why the Roger Federer's Foundation has been supporting parents and the local population of South Africa in their efforts to give their children the chance of a good education for 20 years now.

To mark the 20th anniversary of the Roger Federer Foundation, Prof. Uwe Pühse gave a keynote speech on the topic of "Early childhood motor development from a health education perspective". The keynote speech was followed by a panel discussion on early childhood motor development. The Roger Federer Foundation works in similar thematic and geographical (research) areas as the UNESCO Chair. There are plans to jointly disseminate the KaziKidz Pre-Primary (= Grade R), a teaching and learning tool for physical education aimed at early childhood motor development and school readiness, which was developed in collaboration with the  Roger Federer Foundation.
