News from the Leading House Africa (Swiss TPH) for bilateral research collaboration with partner institutions in South Africa.

The Leading House Basel, Swiss TPH, commissioned in 2017 by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (  SERI), promotes and supports scientific cooperation with relevant institutions in Africa. The aim of this meeting with the South African parliament delegation from Higher Education, Science and Innovation at Swiss TPH was to improve mutual knowledge for education, research and innovation (ERI). In addition, the aim was to strengthen cooperation in the field of innovation through new or existing instruments to develop the capacities of Swiss and South African ERI actors, promote entrepreneurship and develop instruments aimed at innovation, as well as explore options with industrial partners regarding dissemination of jointly developed products.
