Translations of the GloPL Action Framework are now available (source: Global Physical Literacy Action Framework © GloPL Consortium & Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition, Deakin University, Australia, March 2026).

One week ago, the GloPL Consortium launched the Global Physical Literacy Action Framework in English. To contribute to quality movement experiences and break down language barriers, translations of the framework are now available.

Research and global frameworks often face the difficulty that language barriers prevent them from being effectively transferred to local communities. To contribute that physical competence is as inclusive and actionable as possible worldwide, the consortium of the Global Physical Literacy (GloPL) Action Framework has worked with its international partners to translate the framework into 11 different languages.

By providing these resources, we aim to move beyond English-centric research and empower practitioners, educators, and policymakers in their native languages and in their local and cultural context.

For further information, check out and download the specific translation on the official GlobPL website.
